Experience with Life Science 151 thus far......
On entering this course it felt like I knew all the work that was given. Like seriously now,I learnt this stuff at school !!!!! Then the lecturer started throwing this huge words at us such as "semi conservative" and " stroma" and I was like whoa!! hokaai!! whats that??????? This was when it hit me that actually I did not know it all and I actually needed to sit down and listen and do what was expected of me.
It was hard work learning to adapt to the veranderings and learning to cope with life at campus but I got a hold of myself and I thought to myself, " Look here child neh! You gonna study hard, so hard dat die stoom by jou ore uit kom :D " And I am going to commit myself to my work an this promise I made to myself. For regtag waar!!!!
Honestly, I feel that Life Science 151 is a helpful module in the sense that we spend enough time on certain topics, long enough for us to fully understand the topic and to ask questions if we are not sure. But sometimes the lecture was just too uit------gerek man!!!!!!! and then new things was added that completely confused me sometimes. Therefore,I really do not think that was cool. :( The other thing is that I do not like the whole activity marking process thingy that takes place almost daily in Life Science lectures. I know marking our own work forms part of the learning process but dit help regtag as mense so klein bietjie honest kan wees. Yes people i know we all want good marks and stuffies...........we all know know what I mean by that,so ja!
Life Science 151 practical sessions!!!!!!!Whoop Whoop. By my reaction you can clearly notice....... but I will rather say it-I enjoy practical session, wait scratch that,I would rather say I enjoyed Life Science practical sessions so far :) Jap that sound better.
Overall i feel that Life Science 151 is a great course, I really learnt a lot thus far and I am eager to learn some more. The only thing that i feel should change is the fact that students should not mark their own activities because the majority of students are dishonest when doing so.
